WHO YOU ARE MATTERS
My name is Ariel Aghachi and I was born and raised in Beverly Hills. I aspired all my life to achieve the goal of becoming a Trojan, and now that I have achieved, I am sad to say that it is my final year at the university as I enter my senior year. I am currently attending Marshall School of Business, within USC, to receive my Bachelors in Business Administration.
Once my undergraduate schooling comes to an end I envision myself working for one of America's many famous corporations, to climb the corporate ladder as fast and efficient as possible until my financial position and net worth are stable enough to leave the corporation and begin investing in what I see fit at the time. How I plan on achieving this milestone is by applying myself to the working world by starting out with an internship once I graduate. After my internship I will hopefully get a job offer and begin my career in business.
When facing the question on whether how much I am like or unlike my parents I find that I am a lot more unlike my parents, yet still hold some overlapping characteristics with my parents. The main characteristic which I have not adopted from my parents is my money spending habits. My parents are Iranian immigrants, due to the revolution in Iran, and came to America only with the clothes on their backs. Naturally my parents acclimated to saving every penny they made and avoiding as much expenses as humanly possible, including schooling. I do not believe saving money to the extent that they do is smart, and I strongly believe that the money has a better purpose than just sitting in multiple bank accounts. I know that when I age and begin to make money on the scale that my parents do that I still will save just not as much as my parents do. The main characteristic which I share with my parents is that we never give up, failing and giving up is never an option in our family. I have developed my own personal expectations just as my parents have had expectations from me since the beginning.
Jon Snow, from Game of Thrones, serves as my role model at this point of my life. He fits this position because he is a character which always completes all his responsibilities. He also finds himself never giving up on any achievement he strives to accomplish along side taking every opportunity to enjoy life itself.
If I connect with any wild animal I connect with the Seahorse mainly because the Seahorse is known to not follow its own habitual norm, just as I strongly believe that nobody needs to follow society's norm to be accepted. My childhood encounter with the nature kingdom that I remember most fondly was with a Passion Flower which I found growing in my patio the day I moved into my new house.
I think its awesome you have such specific goals that you know you will achieve. Good luck with everything!
ReplyDeleteMy family has always taught me to never give up on my dreams too. I just started watching Game of Thrones as well and I like the show! Jon Snow is great, but my favorite characters are Daenerys Targaryen and Arya Stark.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've got a solid plan. Business is a great degree because there is a ton of opportunities for employment. Glad you got to attend your dream school and enjoyed your time here. I love that you chose the seahorse as well, very unique. Thanks for letting us read your bio!
